Exploring Yerevan means to explore a fairly unknown city. The Republic Square is right in the middle of the city and shows the work of many architects. It's also the place where people gather and enjoy the singing and colourful fountains. Near by there, the main museum is located and if you just want to go for shopping visit Fernisage, a traditional Armenian shop. Yerevan is a city of ancient culture. In 782 B.C. the fortress Erebuni was built on the Arin-Berd hill and still is one of the major tourist attractions. You can see the excavated remains of the city and many historic objects in the nearby museum. Come and see a history that is dating back to the rise of oldest civilizations in the world.
