Odessa, located at the black sea, is the most important harbour city of the Ukraine. The city was already founded in 1794 by Katharina the Great: The harbour played an important strategic role during war times. Odessa visitors shouldn't forget to climb up the Potemkin stairs. 192 steps lead from the city centre to the port.
