The main square of Faro is dominated by the famous Sé cathedral from the 13th century and the 500 year younger Bischofpalast, the Paço Episcopal. The many museums of Faro are worth a visit: the Capela d'Ossos (chapel of bones) or the church Nossa Senhora Do Carmo for example. Faro is also popular because of its lovely beaches.
