The kingdom of Denmark is located between Scandinavia and Central Europe and contains hundreds of islands. The largest island of Denmark is Sjælland with the capital Copenhagen on the East coast. Three world cultural heritage sitzes can be found in Denmark: the church of Jelling, the cathedral of Roskilde and the real castle of Kronborg near Helsingør.
