The highest points in Bologna are the two impressive towers in Piazza di Porta Ravegnana, Torre Asinelli and Torre Garisenda. Another important sight is the Piazza Maggiore, the center of the city with the Basilica of San Petronio and the statue of Neptune on the square. Bologna has also many museums with good painting collections. The Morandi and the Pinacoteca are well worth a visit.
